That’ll probably be quite a big quality of life change for the drivers. My brother used to drive tugs shifting containers on the port side. He spoke about how the engine noise and vibration just went straight through you for the whole of your shift.
Electric should be a lot quieter and smoother.
Perfect timing for them to set unused due to tariff wars…
They can put them in the lot with the LAPD’s unused electric BMW’s…
