I had most of a year like that. It was utterly miserable. I feel like i am worse off for having experienced it, like i wasted so much of my life and have absolutely nothing to show for it beyond “made rent”.
I guess it would mostly depend on how well you could hide doing other stuff, like reading a book or drawing something. But if the only thing you could do is pretend to work I can imagine it becoming boring pretty fast.
