Nice! But those three-pointed stars everywhere give me nausea. Can’t they just make something nice without splattering their logo everywhere? It makes it look so cheap (look at the front: 1 huge logo, 1 small above it and 2 in the headlights… I know German car design has left any dignity some years ago but this is pathetic).

Sorry for the futile rant :D

Gosh, even the sunroof is studded in their logo.

Also, aren’t shooting breaks by definition 2-doors? This is just a wagon.

Shooting break just defines what the rear section looks like, the number of doors doesn’t matter.

They sure have, but the difference between shooting breaks and “shooting breaks” is that a real one has a somewhat horizontal roofline with a somewhat vertical rearend. That is not the same as a wagon with a sloping roofline like most modern “shooting breaks”

To be fair, Mercedes has always had wagons in their lineup since the early 70s.

I don’t know why the downvotes, that’s a very important question for any car that has retractable door handles. People have died in car crashes and fires because of that.

The CLA would not compete with the i3. The i3 would compare to an electric C class. The regular CLA competes with the 2 Gran Coupe.

That’s true, but electric drivetrains could mix up things a bit. It appears the single motor CLA has rear wheel drive, something that in combustion cars draw a pretty clear line between lower and upper middle middle class. But dimensions, wheel sizes, suspensions and so forth will probably still make all the difference.
