    It doesn’t help that the dealer system in the US is propped up by state laws. Dealers hate EVs because they mean less service revenue. Salesdroids will actively steer you away from an EV when you are car shopping.

    (GM should have kept its Saturn brand around and used it to exclusively sell EVs to solve this.)

    There’s also a problem in that Japanese car manufacturers are still EV averse. And companies like VW refuse to sell their compact EV models in North America.

      Yeah, the whole dealer system needs to just be eliminated. It doesn’t do anything beneficial. Just adds cost and complexity with the only purpose bring to enrich societal parasites.
