The reason there’s mostly only hate comments for the Fediverse in that post is that the folks who left Reddit for here and actually liked it never went back (myself included).
I basically only look to Reddit as a source of information these days - I don’t view it as an interactive forum like I did prior to the great API migration.
The only time I actually hear about Reddit is through the Fediverse - and I imagine many here are the same - so nobody would even know or care to comment if it weren’t brought up on a post like this.
Yup exactly what I was thinking! It’s unfortunate because obviously we don’t wanna go back there just to pitch the fediverse, for all the reasons we left in the first place
