No idea what AI has to do with this. There are thought-out and verified processes for re-routing power. Using “AI” (trained on what exactly?) would lead to more problems IMO.
For many years, before LLM’s, people were obsessed with calling good statistics on cleaned up data “AI”.
So, I bet some data scientist spent decades of their life generating a statistical model, and needing to get the product approved by some business bro sighed and said: “Yeah, it’s AI, whatever”
