Is it okay if I post my non furry art here? It’s just that this is the most active community on Lemmy and the other communities don’t post that much anymore. If no that’s fine, I understand. I just wanted to show off my art that’s all.
I can’t speak for this community or instance but there are active communities. Not just art share but a variety of anime tittalation ones like thighentology where you could post any figures that showcase thighs. Also any anime communities you could likely share art. more broadly anime for anime ones and more specific for specific ones. I have seen a lot of freiren individual art postings in that community. One thing about posting art is people don’t always reply even if they view it.

I’m not sure, since it’s a furry oriented instance, I think it’s better to jeep things organize and post furry related content in here. It’s quite in the name (c/furry) and in the bio that it’s precised this is a furry related instance.
Since I’m not an admin I’d still recommend seeing this with @green_copper@kbin.earth as they are admin of this community (and also active from what I’m seeing).
This community is specifically for everything Furry related, so if it is art which has nothing to do with the topic I would welcome if you post it in other communities made for artsharing. But as there is no hard wall where non-furry gets furry, would you give an example of the art you are referring to, then I could give a better verdict.

I agree with @HubertManne@piefed.social . For this community I would like to keep its scope enforced. So if some of your art has any relation with Furry, feel free to post it here. For the other works, please post them in their appropriate communities or communities for general artshare.

It’s mostly an off and on sort of situation, I like drawing furry stuff but don’t actually own any furry items :/
can you define “furry items” and why not owning them makes you somehow less of a furry?
if this is about suiting then i’m the fakest furry ever in your eyes and i’ve been here over 20 years.
Idk, fursuits, animal ear headbands and clip on tails, things that I feel like most furries are associated with, I understand that some don’t actually have these as well and are still furry so…
