There was alot to like about Voyager but they also dropped the ball alot too.

Andor is good precisely because the writing is great with good character arcs and it never leans on nostalgia or fan service.

I liked Scott Bakula in Quantum Leap but he really did ruin Enterprise. Watching an episode like Coal Creek with essentially no Bakula is like a sad reminder of how good that show could have been.

The interesting exception is the term “man” itself which is a gender neutral root word. At some point after the adoption of Christianity people dropped the “were” prefix and just started assuming if you were talking about someone they had to be male unless otherwise stated.
