Thank you!
Migrating here (or maybe keeping both) from @ArcaneSlime@lemmy.ml
Will put an eternal curse on your enemies for a Cinemageddon invite.
Thank you!
I’ll take one!
You do in the right circumstances…
Hell back when I was banging it didn’t matter, but they did ask, so we thought it did matter and we all lied. I think my ol’ AIM acct thinks I’m like 85 now.
I got this one too!
Seriously! Drives me nuts.
Am not furry, but this bothers me for the same reason Morrowind did, “beast races can’t wear helmets/boots.”
Fuck you my guy, there’s whole ass races of Lizards, Orcs, and Cats, and not fucking one of them saw the gear on the Mer, Bretons, Redguard, etc, and said “hey that’s a good idea, I’ll make these for my people with ear slots/covers (or holes for horns and elongated snouts) and make a killing in Balmora” really?! I don’t believe it, I can buy no boots on the cats because they’d use those claws (even though they don’t in game) so they’d likely be averse to them, and Argonians could be averse to all heavy armor because they swim, but they aren’t it’s just boots and helms, and even medium or light boots or helms at that, and there’s no given lore reason AFAIK other than “weird shaped heads and feet” which again no fuck you that’d be taken care of if there were a market for it hands down. Sure maybe no elven helmets would fit, the Altmer are pretentious fucks who would literally not make it to be racist, but there would be at least something for them even if it was made by a Breton blacksmith who wants money, or hell the whole ass Fighter’s Guild would want to protect their prospects and create it.
What I’m trying to say is if there’s a race of deer/horned people, someone is going to make a bed with a big gap in the headboard for the horns to fit, or completely lacking a headboard, or some better idea that can only come from someone with horns (or at least not someone only thinking about this bed for the first time right now). Hell I’ve had beds without headboards, they already make em!
That Dremel is a Guinness lol.
Good thing you’re not German or gay would be “Guh-ypsilon.”
It’s officially wrong, happens sometimes.
Also I pronounce it with the soft sound because that’s what it sounds like in the bloody alphabet.
How do you pronounce the words “Cat celebration?” Is it “Kat kelebration” or “sat selebration?” I’m guessing the latter since that’s how C is pronounced in the bloody alphabet?
Point of order, an effigy by definition would be a dummy/representation of the thing that you then symbolically destroy.
As in, you make an effigy of Mussolini out of cloth and stuffing and burn it in a protest before lining him against a wall, killing him, and defiling his corpse. The corpse itself is not an effigy unless you then use that and make it look like Hitler, and then burn the Mussolini-Hitler corpse as an effigy of Hitler, which tbh would have some layers to it and seems like an innovation in effigy technology…
The layers group.
This is meaningless without numbers though. At least a banana for scale, which…technically…there could be a banana…
Just from the pic, I bet $10 that the second burger is the best one pictured. The first is the one where the patty is full of sawdust and covered in Vaseline for shine, the mayo is Elmer’s and the cheese is plastic, so it looks good for the commercial.
My account got deleted for inactivity like forever ago. I don’t post pics and there wasn’t much there at the time, I wish they’d have left it but I understand.
Anyway, what’s a good instance to make a new account? Mostly gonna lurk, don’t post pics much (or really at all), as I said.
Snorblite for sure, fuck the ATF.
I can’t help, I wish I could, but I’m curious. Why a smart scale? Why not just any dumb scale from Bed Bath and Beyond?
But another question, “are you ok with sitting at the bar with nazis, but they’re wearing red shirts with a hammer and sickle on them and espousing the same propensity for murder?”
Lemmy is fine with murder and genocide so long as you wear the right shirt while doing it.

I believe they were insinuating that “DRM” as in “Digital Rights Management” (as the comment they were replying to had spelled out) actually has nothing to do with “rights,” and further that we shouldn’t let companies reframe restrictions to the user as rights of the creator, not that the comment they replied to is wrong about which “DRM” is being referenced in relation to the kernel.
