I used to cross the border with just a driver’s license, because the drinking age was 19 in Canada. Sometimes the Canadians would search my car on entry, but never had any problems more than that. Coming back, the US side would just check your ID then wave you through.

Is this really “green” though? Heat pumps are efficient because they’re transferring some heat energy from one place to another. Heat pumps don’t generate all the heat internally. This just seems like saving money by using more electricity when it’s cheaper

When we eventually do get real self-driving cars, some of them will come with force-feedback steering wheels that give the illusion of driving.

I haven’t seen any legacy media willing to report on anything other than an awkward gesture. Where are these media outlets not afraid of the truth?

Someone shot up a local business in my town several years ago, in broad daylight, while people were working the front counter. Nobody was hurt, but it’s never been solved.
