Honestly i wouldn’t hold it against them if they take some time off and relax, they have done so much over the years without asking for anything in return they are finally getting some appreciation they deserve and of course donations help a lot but donations can’t help with burnout.

It shouldn’t be “politics shapes who lives and who dies” it should be “greed shapes who lives and who dies”, sounds more appropriate.

He creates something, lets it grow and sets it free, Linux is pretty much everywhere and GitHub was recently purchased by Microslop, sorry Microsoft (keeps autocorrecting) and he has no intention to hold anything just for himself, he likes creating “campfires” around which like-minded people can gather and share ideas to oversimplify it.

I know, but people are still not comfortable switching to it, but it’s getting more traction because Windows 11 is getting worse and worse, not that it was great before, this is just the shittiest version of it and people are finally realising Linux is a good alternative.

Why would you use anything else.

First interview lately that i saw regarding America that shows people finally realising who holds the reins and finally saying NO to the greedy corpo fascists, impressive AF!

We all keep hoping he’ll stop being a greedy asshole and he hasn’t tried to do that so i guess we’ll all have to live with the disappointment.

As long as we give people a simpler way/distro to get out of Windows do whatever crazy idea comes to mind.
