As someone with generalized anxiety disorder, I feel I can relate to Mr. Worry the best.

It’s a Fifth Edition campaign that my cousin’s wife has been running for about two years now. Playing with her, two of my cousins, another family friend, and my wife. Our DM has created a wonderful world and a fantastic story, and I relish every chance I get to play. We have a five-hour session twice a month, give or take.

It’s Friday… Icarus with the boys tonight, Destiny 2 with cousins tomorrow, and a wonderful D&D session on Sunday. And no work all weekend.

lol, two weeks. I’ve been living out of hampers for years at this point.

I was lucky to spend $5,000 as a down payment to get a $12,000 car for an $18,000 loan a couple of years ago. What makes anyone think I can afford an EV? I wouldn’t even have anywhere to charge it at my apartment complex.

Now, I did spend $1,700 on an e-bike as well. That lasted about as long as the job I lived five miles from did, and now the bike collects dust in a closet because I don’t have the time or energy to ride on my personal time.

Until our cities in the US are designed for alternative modes of transport, ICE vehicles will rule the day. I’m not holding my breath waiting for anything to change, especially with 47 ruining the country.

Almost as if the statement is referring to the paradox of tolerance.

By allowing people like Nazis, Christofascists, Tankies, etc. a platform, it only invites more sharing that view to spread their bullshit around. This makes those that don’t share those extremist views uncomfortable they then leave those places. You see it on platforms like Truth Social, X, and 4Chan.

If this is to be a kind place, we must encourage kindness and rid ourselves of unkindness. You can’t tolerate intolerance, lest it spread and take over.

The second best thing is remember that tolerance of intolerance breeds intolerance.

At this point I’m convinced the only way to defeat Trump and his band of Nazis is to shoot them all in their fucking faces.
