I think you overestimate where we are in this schedule. We aren’t at societal collapse. We aren’t even at minor unrest. The TV shows are still being pumped out. Kids are still going in to school. You aren’t being food rationed. There aren’t rolling blackouts. The government is currently VERY transparent.
We arent ready to change yet. But we will. We always do.
In the MCU yea that tracks.
I did use AI for my first project to automate my coworkers job. But that was me learning how to set these things up with C#. I did the coding. ChatGpt told me if it was possible or not and how. Something someone with knowledge could make in a week I build in 3 months and refined into a very usable app.
But I didn’t just let the AI do the thinking of what I should have the app do.
Edit: we did replace that guy with a person. But in the mean time that software I wrote helped my non technical boss work with us in the meantime. It does have its merrits.
Are not supposed to just highly optimize our games for 3 hours and then shut the computer off when you get the golden 60-120fps?
Hmmm I’ll have to take your word for it. I’ve had one in my garage running for 2 years straight and I didn’t notice a power bill change.
If you can find one of the optiplex desktops with the T version of Intel processor, those are low powered
Well tbf Americans have room.
Ah, yea fine makes sense.
Do you guys have room for that?
For iTunes, I do full backups and redeploys of my wife’s iPhone.
As for games, “yarr harr me matey.” I just don’t want to fiddle with wine or proton, so I’ll take a look at scummVM. We’re talking dos and w95 era shit. Likeech warrior 2, etc…
And I agree with your bottom portion, I don’t know a single person outside of myself (in my family) that needs more than a Chromebook or Linux mint with just the Firefox or chrome icon on the desktop.
I have a Linux gaming laptop and a windows laptop for proprietary crap. Or things that don’t run well on Linux. Like older games and iTunes.
I have an elitebook g450 and a yogo 380L. They’re both nice in their own ways but the g450 has a better short travel.
Can you root or jailbreak these things?
I have Visual Studio and decided to see what copilot could do. It added 7 new functions to my game with no calls or feedback to the player. When I tested what it did …it used 24 lines of code on a 150 line .CS to increase the difficulty of the game every time I take an action.
The context here is missing but just imagine someone going to Viridian forest and being met with level 70s in pokemon.
Thanks. Not sure they would have gotten the joke without the correction. Your a gym.
“Their taking the Hobbits to Eisengard”…gard gard gard gard.
Uh so where am I gonna go?
