But the difference is is that only a few browsers are what you’d call successful (chrome, safari, firefox). If the new one catches on, it’s a needed contribution, not “just another standard”
Huh, but I got the idea that OP’s internet wasn’t still up. His router acting up would indicate to me that he’d be offline, no? And therefore any device on his LAN
How’d you send the command remotely? Radio? Via internet would seem… ironic

And computers all the way up

I use their Keyboard as well as their Grayjay app for YouTube. Amazing shit. And open source. People please donate if you can.

But consent wasn’t one of the options. Government is going to do it in the shadows or in broad daylight. Which do you prefer

It actually goes like this
Would you rather be forced fed your own shit or would you prefer for me to cook for you every and not tell you which day I’m mixing your own shit into your food?
Anyone would choose the latter one. Also, this is ALREADY happening. The former is worse

But wouldn’t you say this is better than OPENLY requiring a backdoor? Because if NSA had access (via their own hacking or asked for backdoors in secret), than it is much easier for new people to make new (backdoor free) hardware and software that is harder/impossible to hack, allowing people to have security and privacy once again just by switching, even if it’s temporary.
But if government OPENLY requires backdoors then all new hardware and software would need to meet this new standard, which is easier for the government to control.
So I think it’s better to fight the government in the shadows than in the open, in this regard.
JDownloader is the best for downloading anything from YouTube. It may also support YouTube Music

WireGuard?

True that. They’re also less recognizable as an ip address. They don’t stand out

Still kinda sad that ip6 still hasn’t taken off, that would give literally every toaster in the world its own static ip

You have no idea what ‘user friendly’ can mean for boomers. A button that says “Next” is already something that need to be talked about explicitly

But Bazzite is a gaming OS, isn’t that very user unfriendly? Or do you auto start Jellyfin on startup? Or are your parents just… not boomers?

Idk what your usecase is but isn’t LineageOS the opposite of user-friendliness esp for older people? Isn’t it meant for tablets, not tv stresm boxes with remote controls? Or am I missing something

Nvidia shield is less user friendly than Roku I think
That M.2 is the first to break its neck
