8 months agoIt’s frustrating but yeah it’s not surprising with how things are being set up. With how stress life is and how much people are struggling with money, at least most are, people will understandably take the free and convenient options that the vast majority of others also use and sacrifice this thing that it’s hard to have a concept of and also it seemingly not affecting their lives. That’s if they’re even really aware it’s happening in the first place.
(Not assuming your opinion by the way, just giving my thoughts)
Used to love this song and listen to this band so much in my late teens/early 20s. I do remember with these lyrics wondering at that time if that’s how it would go. Funny to get to my 30s now and be like, “yep, hard relate”
