Do you tend to have sensitive skin? Maybe you need to change up your skincare routine. Or you may just need some time to get used to it. It is kind of a violent action to rip hairs out of your skin after all. It gets easier though, fewer hairs come back and I find it doesn’t even hurt anymore.

I highly recommend epilating! Like waxing, you’re pulling the hair out by the root so it lasts a long time, but unlike waxing, you’re not also pulling your skin. Just like doing a coat of primer before you start painting, you may need to do a bit of a shave first, but the maintenance after that is very easy.

Don’t worry, mine is extremely cheap and it does the job. I also get those tiny scabs sometimes, and for me it’s from ripping out a particularly thick hair.
For taking care of your skin, don’t overcomplicate it! Exfoliating is definitely a good start, and always remember to moisturise. You shouldn’t need to pay an arm and a leg and incorporate 37 steps to keep your skin healthy.
