Waylands initial release was 2008… I don’t think so at all…
Pipewire was released in like 2017 but the transition was a lot smoother than Wayland so that’s probably way it feels like that.

Yeah… If I remember right Linus or someone high up in Linux development has mentioned before how much they have to do to fix hardware issues and security issues in hardware.
I think it’s the consequence of releasing new hardware every year rushed, instead of making actually improvements that would take time.
Still pretty active I’d say

workspace code ^^^ for anyone that wants to test it out with me. I don’t have friends to do so :(
Will you package it to flathub?
I fucking loved Manjaro as a newbie but I completely agree.
Fuck yes! Maybe more games will enable Linux support.
Any chance they actually had is now gone
This isn’t really news… We all knew this when it came out that it would collect everything it can. I mean it’s Facebook, what else would they do?
Oh no a paid, proprietary, piece of shit software does something shitty. Who could’ve ever saw this coming?!
I’ve said it for years anytime anyone mentioned running a Plex server. As soon as you install that on your server or your homelab it’s no longer your server. Proprietary software is malware
I think it was like fedora 32 or 33 they started using btrfs as default. You’re a lil behind.
I agree with it though I always have. Fedora has always integrated newer technologies into their distro, usually after opensuse still hahaha. But they were one of the first to default to Wayland and pipewire as well. If it wasn’t for distros like fedora and opensuse adopting these as default then, Linux on the desktop would be 10 years behind now
This is why I’ve always loved unmarked clothes since I was in middle school. When I was a kid I was very cynical about being branded
But I want a bigger bike :(
I usually use podman
Perfect post for !grool@lemmynsfw.com
I don’t mind this because I don’t mind systemd but it kinda makes it feel eh… Like it’s not as modular. But then again if you want something modular you’re not gonna be choosing gnome
