Brave is so sketchy
This is a thing. It just doesn’t work very reliably for the reasons you mentioned.
It does work kind of ok on some comics like the one OP shared and generally pretty well on manga since that tends to be more consistent with the boxes.
I don’t know of anything open source or self hosted that does this though.
I am so far from trusting and LLM to do mass refactoring even with heavy review. Refactoring bugs can be super insidious.
I’m yet to find a non-LISP that doesn’t have at least one or two rough edges like that.
Depends on what you mean by “audit”.
I look at the GitHub repo.
Do I read the whole code base? Of course not. But this is way more than I can do with closed source software.

Lazy Vim is super underrated imo
This is a bit of an exaggeration. There’s evidence that prehistoric societies mended broken bones and sometimes even skull fractures.
Average life expectancy stats are pretty skewed by infant mortality rates.
As one example, Otzi the “ice man” had several broken bones early in his life and survived a pretty long time after that.

Do people using RSS readers contribute to these stats at all?
Fails to or refuses to?
Edit: just took at look at their repo and there is indeed no license. Looking at the issues I can’t find anyone mentioning it. Maybe an oversight?
Edit2: looking at the backend server repo, it does say that it’s AGPL but you are correct there is no license.txt
