It’s Southern California, I’m surprised they had them at all- they won’t be actually selling many of them no matter what. My BIL has only lived there and in Mexico and when he visited us in New England the first time, he was very confused at the heavy duty brush/scraper in my car.

The items the people are holding in the video are just generic plastic putty knives, not purpose-made ice scrapers (i.e. they came from the paint department, not automotive). Still works for the purposes of the protest, but I agree they probably don’t stock very many ice scrapers.

We actually do get snow in SoCal. In the mountains. I could literally go surfing and snowboarding in the same day just by taking a 2 hour drive from IB to Big Bear Mountain

The one year I spent winter months in San Diego, it froze hard enough for pipes to burst all around the area.

I probably brought it with me; I’m from the Midwest, and after the time in San Diego, I lived in Houston TX for a year and we had a blizzard. So. My bad, folks. Tho seeing palm trees covered in ice and snow was one of the best things I’ve ever seen. So surreal.

Yeah, that’s why I changed it to “won’t sell many.” It’s possible to see snow, but I can’t imagine many people actually wanting/needing to purchase an ice scraper
