OK so I’m a hetero male with a female partner, but I can relate to this. Some of the most intense and memorable dreams I’ve had are ones where I had almost an entire life with a perfect partner, where I knew every one of their quirks and qualities - they truly felt real, and waking up after such a dream hits you in the gut like a truck.
