    In a little under five minutes, the BYD folks called it: 60.10%, while still maintaining a charge speed of 463 kW.

    If you ask me, thats way better than these NIU battery swapping stations. Still very interesting how chinese companies really take the lead in this field.

      Like it or not, the systems in China are just really efficient at manufacturing and R&D. When you can just litterally dump money into R&D departments while keeping the cost of the product competitive with slave-like labour, you’re pretty much set for success. The industrial revolution in the west benefitted from the same. A lot of new tech, plenty of money to invest in improvements, and shit pay for the factory workers.
