i feel like i should say something that someone might need to hear.
this isn’t a message for the unicorn. i’ve been the unicorn, and messages like this hurt more than help for the unicorn
it’s a message for the cat. and that cat kept me from giving in. even though i was unbearable.
If you or anyone here want to elaborate ln this, I would be interested reading or discussing this, or getting ressources. I think I can see a cheesy generalization here but I’m not sure to understand all the implications of this comment. I’m also non native english speaker btw
Basically the commenter is saying that this is not for people struggling to believe in themselves. It’s to serve as inspiration to other people to treat them with kindness. They are saying it’s not a empty “you can do it” message but a “this is how you should treat people who are struggling” message.
