My mom was never that honest (with herself). When we went through her belongings after her death we found pictures with some of her “just friends” where they were kissing passionately. My dads response: that sure is normal behaviour for all women when their partners aren’t around… LOL.
Yes, it’s one of the maybe 3 times my mother has been genuinely honest about herself with me so it’s a very treasured memory
