Tesla had its worst monthly sales number in China in nearly three years, despite the launch of the exclusive six-seat Model Y L. A newcomer for the EV industry has managed to top the Model Y sales there in just two years.
Yeah, looking into things like BYD you can clearly see that China was willing to pump a lot of money into their fledgling EV companies (not that Tesla didn’t get money through loans/car subsidies, but seems like a different scale).
