Hi, I tried to reach out to a local clinic for cryopreservation (of sperm) and they said they don’t do it anymore so maybe there are other options?

You will not be fertile on HRT* and possibly irreversibly infertile after a while on it. Storing sperm is the way to go, but I don’t know much about the subject. Where I am I can have my sperm stored by talking to my GP, but it sounds like you are somewhere where this has to be handled privately?
*don’t assume you are fully infertile. this can lead to accidental pregnancies. you will absolutely be less fertile and likely not fertile at all, but I won’t guarantee it
Yup, best to do the preservation before starting HRT. It’s the most effective.
If you already started HRT, chances are you’re either reducedly fertile or temporarily/permanently infertile (the longer, the higher the chance for the last). If you haven’t been on HRT for long, you have to stop taking it and then most likely 3 months after (the timeline of sperm production) you could do the thing to store it.
Not fun though, 'cus depending on whether you take testosterone or estrogen as HRT, you’ll experience hot flashes (like a sort of menopause), and dysphoria and all.
