    Hm, my endocrinologist never mentioned taking progesterone as an option. Why do you take it and do you have any site that you could point me to that has more information?

      Sadly I don’t, as a lot of the evidence for progesterone’s effects on transfeminine HRT is anecdotal or very new. It’s understudied even by trans HRT standards.

      I’ve personally experienced libido increases, body odor changes, skin changes in sensitive areas, greater mood swings, and a bit of breast growth. Like estrogen, mileage varies, only moreso.

        Thanks for the response! OK, so then I’ll just postpone thinking about taking progesterone until we have more substantiated information about it. I’ve infrequently heard about it for the last 6-7 years now, but nothing really specific (except maybe for breast development).

        What are your personal reasons for taking it? (If you feel comfortable sharing this obviously)

          Basically all the possible effects were something I wanted, and while I’d be disappointed if I didn’t get them, I wouldn’t be that distraught about it. So far I’ve been happy with it
