Jake is the only real journalist I’ve seen in the Trek universe. The only other guy who comes close was the time Max Headroom showed up pretending to be a historian from the future but was actually a grifter from the past.
Oh man, I forgot that Molloch / tbe guy from Shaky Ground was in an episode, and then wondered if there really was some Max Headroom cameo I missed, like when they brought in Einstein and Stephen Hawking.
