I know animals have different fur in the winter vs the summer, but it’s hard to believe they don’t constantly run hot in the summer. But in the winter, it sure sounds like a blessing to be covered in floof (plus, it’s cute as heck) :3
Insulation works both ways.
But only if the insulated side is not emitting heat. Otherwise it turns into a slow cooker.
Poor kitty must not be having fun with all these heat waves… :(
