It’s fucked, but if all else fails, take the “stand up for yourself” to the absolute literal and hit like it’s life or death.
It was the only way I had peace in school. And not by lack of trying other ways, even trying to talk to the bullies parents didn’t solved.
Am I proud? Nope. Did it solved? Yes. Was I out without consequences? Absolutely no, I got a whole month of suspension and nearly got expelled from the school.
I was just pissed off enough and yelled enough to get the principal to listen that it was on them that I broke that fuck in half.
I quite hate that it had to lead to that, wish school was less bullshit about it.
Funnily enough, I still talk to the dude that I literally broke a chair at his back to this day, so at least that worked well
