Spock: Why would I wish to converse with an alcoholic beverage?

Guinan: How does a nice cold beer sound, Mr. Data?

Data: While most liquids do not actually produce any audible sound, I find that if I increase the gain on my audio processors, I can discern the faint popping sounds emitted by the carbonation breaking the surface. However, I do not believe this is affected by the temperature of the beverage.
