The Jupiter 8 was named after Jupiter, one of 892-IV’s Roman gods. Described as “Royal Comfort” and “unexcelled in its field,” it had a conventional internal combustion engine with 456 horsepower, a super-flow automatic transmission, a super-glide suspension system, and super-grip white sidewall tires.
TOS: “Bread and Circuses”
That is definitely the best angle for this car. Wikipedia’s pic makes it look real hokey.
Kinda reminds me of the car Homer designed.
Quite a crossover with Batman, Bewitched, and Mission impossible!
some exec got it and needed to use it as a “business expense”.
😂
Some… day! Love, will find… YOU!
They really liked the adjective “super” back in the day huh?
I think it’s AI bullshit.
It had a 180 hp Corvair engine, mounted in the front, driving the front wheels.
The suspension is just Citroen air hydraulic suspension (which is special, but standard on Citroen DS and a few later cars, and Rolls Royce too back then.
The tires aren’t whitewalls either, and probably never were.
It’s not AI. The car pictured was used in the TOS episode: Bread & Circuses

No I meant the description. It’s bullshit, but it might have been promotional bullshit by a marketing man.
The Wikipedia page explains what the car is really made from.
