I really like summer, but I also hate it because it keeps getting hotter every year. If summer was a constant 20-25C, that’d be lovely.

Luckily summer was a bit milder this year where I live but I still prefer the colder seasons. I’m basically nocturnal during summer to avoid the afternoon heat.
It was the same where I live. We only had two heatwaves, and it was a very comfortable summer the rest of the time. I wish I could be nocturnal in the summer, but then I’d have to sleep in the heat, and that sounds terrible.
I think having to sleep in the heat is still better than having to do stuff in it. I would also try to keep the bedroom as cool as possible by opening the window at night to let cool air in, and closing it and the shutters when the sun comes out to keep the heat out as much as possible, which was enough to make it somewhat bearable.
Shutters would help a lot, but I only have blinds on the inside of my windows. They still help a little bit, but when you touch them, they’re as hot as a radiator :c
