Would they identify as Linux though and not simply as Windows?

Of course, why?

yeah obviously she was too clumsy :D /jk
sadly we got a very very awkward holo romance for geordi instead 🤮

And she was never seen again. Ever.

We must be very proud of your shitposting!

KHtml was massacred :/

What do you mean with Slider Interface? The Overview from GNOME? Maybe consider then KDE as it comes close to the base Windows UI.
Also nothing’s wrong or noobish with using Linux Mint.
I would suggest to have a USB Stick and have Ventoy installed on it, then put a ton of different Distributions (Fedora, Linux Mint Debian Edition, whatever,…) to check if everything (especially the Wifi Modem) works great.

Would be cool if we could get a protocol for iconsets, to not just enable accent coloured but also embossed folder icons.
steamos users on the deck will rarely if ever interact with what arch linux makes arch linux, so yeah it is a bad example.
Uh yeah that’s a bad example as most users will just use SteamOSes Big Picture?

Is it a good chair?

And it’s absolutely great that you like it, it’s just a bit misleading as it’s not windows 98 :)

Take a look at Windows Me scree shots and pull the colour from a 3d object (like a button or a panel) and you will see that the colour picked isn’t grey (all three RGB values are identical) but has a slight red tint.

Uhm you know that the buttons on the taskbar supposed to be raised (unless active then lowered just like the notification area) and the entire strip to be not translucent? Also windows 98, unlike Me, was grey in colour and not creamy red.
Ein echtes… Rambo Messer!
