If my friend start talking about openclaw we’re going to change the subject to something that’s actually interesting.

Telling people about your interactions with an AI is like telling people about a dream you had, it has no basis in reality and no one cares.

For me it’s always the last day/week of university. I find out that there’s some class I forgot I was enrolled in. It’s too late to drop the class. If I fail it I won’t graduate but I’ve literally missed the class for the entire semester and haven’t done any of the work or exams.

I had one where I had to both go enroll in and teach at high school (they discovered I was missing credits but also my degrees and work experience were better than the current teachers so they wanted me to teach the classes I was missing. But I still had to take them. Dream logic is fun.)

I always get annoyed because I get really interested in the dream and just kinda forget they’re basically nonsense and usually don’t go anywhere. So I’m super invested and on the edge of my seat and right before I think it’s about to get really good the person is like “and then I woke up.” Or the “setting” and “plot” abruptly and jarringly change to something completely different and everything else is dropped entirely. Either way I’m reminded that it was never a carefully crafted story, just an odd manifestation of random unconscious thoughts.

Well, there is a solution to that. Start turning dreams into actual stories so they have plot and can be continued. It’s a great tradition!
