      Without going into every little thing let’s look at where they end up.

      Nog: Star Fleet captain with enough renown to have a ship named after him.

      Rom: Reformist leader of an entire race

      Quark: Franchised business owner. (That gets fined into near poverty for failing to pay licensing fees for his equipment)

          I was actually mildly annoyed LD chose to make him a joke in that moment tbh. It was true to character sure, but I hate to see a legacy character given success just so we can watch them loose it on screen.

          It’s just mean writing. For the sake of a comedy bit that amounts to ‘some things never change’
