Audi has assembled all of the ingredients for mainstream EV adoption, but is the new A6 E-Tron greater than the sum of its parts?

    The 2025 Audi A6 Sportback E-Tron starts at $67,195

I appreciate having more choices in electric sedans but these prices are obscene. That’s the cheapest one.

Given that a regular A6 and S6 start at $58.1k and $75.9k, that isn’t toooo crazy. The S6 E-tron is pretty much the same price as the ICE one.

The problem isn’t that it’s “crazy”, just that’s its unattainable for normal people.

Audi does not have a US plant and if they built one it is unlikely to produce EVs given how few are sold in the US.

Again, very little to do with tariffs, a whole lot to do with being a German luxury brand.

Audis aren’t really luxury. Higher profile than VW, but it’s the Buick to a Chevy kinda deal.

Buick is also a GM luxury brand.

Cadillac is their luxury brand. Buick is intermediate. The luxury VW brand is Bentley.

When do we get the electric RS 6 Avant?

I am really liking the look of the new A5/A6 models, but the fake radiator grill on the e-tron isnt doing the design any favors.

Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we’ll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.
