When orcs look like nails, everything is a hammer - ancient Khuzdul proverb
Really? Well, I’m from Bundushathûr and grew up speaking Khuzdul and I’ve never heard anyone use the phrase ‘Zigilul, kulul baraz.’.
It’s a Valinor expression.
Well, I’m from Alqualondë and I’ve never heard anyone use the phrase “Foe-Hammer”
“Hammer” verb, not “hammer” noun.
So it turns foes into ham?
It will make them more like ham than not.
Turns foes into hams, no need to get so steamed
It’s a regional dialect.
In Sindarin your sword is known as “Front toward enemy”.
That’s funny, in Quenya mine is called “front toward kin”
Mordhau grip. Swords can be hammers too.
You know our motto: We deliver.

Is this in the book? I don’t remember that at least…
This is in the hobbit. Gandalf and crew find Glamdring, Orcrist, and Sting in the troll hoard, and Elrond tells them the names of the blades. Sting was named by Bilbo since the knife didn’t have an elvish name
Bilbo was a huge fan of The Police.
A little known fact is that Bilbo named his mithril coat Stuart and his ring Andy.
I remember them finding the swords (& dagger 😁) but not the rest.
Thanks! Totally forgot about that detail.
*Foe-Harmer.
No
even in fantasy, we respect FACTS.
Tolkien heads take that shit seriously. Be glad 'twas only I! A Brando Sando fan

Sorry for shutting down your joke. In my defense, autism. Also, also, was also a joke on my part.
… also also also, DON’T MESS WITH TOLKIEN!
(That’s also a joke)
That sword was a magnificent bastard!
(It’s also the name of the Lord of the Rings Online server I’m on)
