    I have zero doubt that if it goes through (which it probably will given all the bribes they openly gave to the orange turd) then this will become a very large corner of very hardcore pro-conservative media and propaganda.

      An “awesome” sendoff for an awesome franchise that does two decades ago, but somehow keeps on twitching with horrible results like Starfleet academy

        All the modern stuff is already braindead so this isn’t a loss from my perspective. That’s just Star Trek though, they’ll own too much as one company. I hate capitalist consolidation.

    If this merger would finally put star trek to rest in piece, I’d be all for it.ivr spend a decade watching star trek being dragged through the mud, it’s a clown show at this point (seriously, what the frack were they thinking with Starfleet academy?)

    Either that, or they do a complete reboot where we all collectively act as if that Kelvin universe crap never happened, that’d be fine too
