I wouldn’t mind a cuddle circle, but as an egg I always hated when we were forced to give our pronouns. Even though I have an answer now, I still don’t like them

Asking because I am often the person who leads the introductions IRL, if I say, “Name, pronouns if you’d like to share, and <third thing>”, does that feel like you have enough of an out?

That’s fine, and those circles have gotten better in recent years. It’s just that when I was trying to figure myself out, they more often required you to not skip over questions

I totally get it. It’s why I try to just avoid either asking for them, or using them irl, if a person hasn’t volunteered them or otherwise made their gender known.

I’ve run into enough people that have issues with pronouns that it made me question how necessary it really is to use them. There’s times it’s unavoidable if you don’t want to do language gymnastics that make things more awkward and uncomfortable, but it’s kinda surprising how often it’s avoidable once the habit forms. Not that I always remember, but still.

Typical transfem behavior is to assume all trans women are also into your hobby.

I’ve also heard that most trans women are film photographers. No girl you’re just more likely to meet those who share your interests.

Kinda both. I had to cut down after I had 16 different chilli plants in my dining room and it looked a bit like a spicy jungle.

If you want refuge from the day star, I would recommend the larger Gunnera species’. I’m limited by what I can grow, because I live in a place that has around 7 months of winter and for two of those, there’s no natural light.

Like a Giant Rhubarb. Nice, I live in southern Germany - we love Rhubarb. I can’t imagine living in a place with such extended periods of low / no light - I guess you plastered the place with LEDs?

Don’t eat it. Actually I have about 5000 lumins of cool white fluorescent tubes. Enough to keep things alive over winter but not the correct wavelength to promote flowering.

    TIL I’m trans.

Not really though, but do you know how many plants I own?

    Not enough.

Edit: Plants, not pants. 😆I own a lot of pants but never as many as plants.
